PROJECT: Construction of Concrete Marine Tower and Pedestrian Jetty at Ologbo, Ikpoba Okha L.G.A., Edo State
PROJECT LOCATION:
The project is located at Ologbo Community, along the Oriowon River, in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Edo State.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project involved the construction of a concrete marine tower and pedestrian jetty comprising:
- Installation of 16 No. bored cased piles, each to a depth of 15 meters.
- A reinforced concrete walkway, 2.5 meters wide and 26 meters long, seated on the piles.
- A jetty high tower platform measuring 5.0m x 5.0m, integrated with the walkway.
- A 400mm reinforced concrete perimeter beam along the water-facing side of the structure.
PROJECT STATUS:
Completed – February 2023.
